Once upon a time… As if from a fairy tale, Giuseppe Pochintesta’s anecdotes reveal enchanting accounts of exceptional adventures, which of course always have a perfectly happy ending. Because beyond reservations and standard services, “our mission is to make our guests live a dream, to amaze them, so that their stay here is nothing less than unforgettable”, he explains.
“For a proposal, we once organised a hot-air balloon flight over Les Airelles, where the couple had forged such good memories. On another occasion, one of our clients wanted to surprise his wife, so we offered to set up a teepee in the mountains, with a vast log fire for a romantic dinner way up high.”
These memories are as dear to Giuseppe Pochintesta as they are to his guests.

“We have to make their family holiday with us in the most beautiful experience possible, to give them and their children memories that will last a lifetime. It’s this added touch of emotion that makes all the difference at Les Airelles. Everybody feels warm and right at home.”
And when a new client arrives, being part of the invaluable Clefs d’Or network makes all the difference. Members frequently help each other to provide impeccable services in all circumstances. “I’ll often call a colleague in New York or Geneva to find out more about a client’s tastes before they arrive. Keeping in mind that expectations are not necessarily the same in London or Courchevel! It’s a way of fostering the relationship, which is really at the heart of our craft.”
