Heights and delights

The Snow Kingdom invites itself to the slopes of Courchevel with three high-altitude addresses, as well as La Table des Airelles which benefits from entrance to the Jardin Alpin slope.

Le Chalet de Pierres

Le Chalet de Pierres welcomes you to an authentic setting at the top of the Piste des Verdons. The architecture and decor of this former station in La Maurienne blend perfectly with Courchevel’s cultural heritage. On the menu, the generous cuisine of Savoy, Italian specialities, top-notch meat and fish. On the terrace, seafood enthusiats will appreciate the selection of oysters, King crab, crayfish etc. at Le Chalet de l’Écailler. With a wide choice of pastries, sugary treats and a chocolate fountain, the amazing dessert buffet will make everyone agree to round off the meal. A real paradise for old and young alike, the latter having great fun in their dedicated play area, La Cabane des Lutins.

Aman Le Mélézin

Above the village of Courchevel 1850, at the foot of the Bellecôte slopes, this 5-star hotel plays host to Le Nama, one of the region’s most highly-prized restaurants serving traditional Japanese cuisine. Here you can savour a refined selection of typical dishes such as Wagyu Beef and Otoro Tuna, as well as essential ramen, sushi and sashimi, prepared as per the rules of the art.

La Folie Douce - La Fruitière

Well-known for its lunchtime shows, La Folie Douce is a must port-of-call on a winter stay in Courchevel. At lunchtime, head for the Intermédiaire station of the Saulire Express gondola at an altitude of 2100 m, to enjoy a meal in its restaurant La Fruitière. Here you will appreciate authentic local gastronomy updated by Chefs Franck Mischler and Arnaud Nicolas, in an electrifying atmosphere. The promise of a memorable moment, for all generations combined.
