The experience

Airelles Val d’Isère, Mademoiselle Noble in style, Elegant in spirit

Airelles Val d'Isère, Mademoiselle

Opening in December 2019.

At the Place de Neige, in the very centre of Val d’Isère, an edifice of stone and wood takes pride of place at the edge of the ski slopes, defying the majestic summits of the Vanoise mountains. With  Mademoiselle, the hotel collection Airelles invites those enamoured with the mountains to live their own fairy tale. At an altitude of 1,850m, the new 5-star hotel is like a magnificent trip to ancient times in the magic kingdom of snow.

Directly at the base of the slopes, Mademoiselle’s lofty silhouette magnifies the landscape while simultaneously blending in perfectly with the emblematic architectural codes of Val d’Isère’s traditional village: grey stone walls, shale roof, wood trimming… The hotel nonetheless imprints its splendid difference immediately, a new and unmissable landmark on the Place de Neiges, where everyone meets at Val d’Isère.

Between medieval chic and haute epoque “Mademoiselle” asserts her style

An audacious reinterpretation of a medieval-inspired castle, Mademoiselle possesses the old aristocratic elegance of a lord’s residence, with its monumental wrought wooden staircase, fireplaces, beamed ceilings, ancient chests, brocante furniture and rich fabrics. A place with a soul, where the clean lines of the Haute Epoque combined with contemporary materials strongly reveal impressive modernity.

5-star service “Mademoiselle” shares her art de vivre

In this atmosphere that is both understated and lavish, 41 keys, including 11 suites and five private apartments with a dedicated butler, provide the perfect balance between luxurious intimacy and grandiose volumes, for an absolutely unparalleled experience of the art of mountainside living. A storybook world full of fantasy, where nothing has been left to chance, to share unforgettable moments together with friends and family.

Timeless “Mademoiselle” dreams…

A world apart, the sumptuous, 1,200-sqm Guerlain spa seems dug out of the rock. The immense pool is surrounded by arcades, and the natural juice bar brings to mind a shoppe of olde. Straight out of Merlin the Magician’s imagination, the children’s area recreates as if by magic the enchanted Brocéliande forest, a kingdom where youngsters are truly kings. And the welcoming lobby dominated by the extraordinary antique pewter chandelier, in the Dutch style, provides access to a gallery of boutiques hosting iconic brands, where Moncler and Brunello Cucinelli have already found their home.

Gourmet pleasure “Mademoiselle” indulges all desires

Happiness takes on soaring dimensions on the Terrasse, with 860sqm of breathtaking views on the snow-covered mountains, the perfect spot for a delicious moment of lunch out in the sun.
In the evening, the Carnotzet pays homage to cheese in all its forms, varying comforting mountain specialities in a warm and Savoyard ambience.

Throughout the day, wine, spirit and cigar amateurs can explore the Bar and Fumoir, for the pleasure of savouring the present moment.
And finally, just next door to Mademoiselle, nothing has changed at La Grande Ourse, which has been Val d’Isère’s iconic brasserie for decades. The classic menu is as irresistible as always. Between tradition and modernity, what symbol could be more beautiful than the understanding and cooperation of such a reputed institution with ‘Mademoiselle’?
