The most popular activities with our guests are the seasonal specialties, such as the JeudiVins, wine tasting nights featuring the best local vintages, meticulously selected by our head sommelier Rodolphe Fontaine.

The events organised by Michel Dumas, a scientist from the Ventoux Provence Planetarium, have also been a huge success. All season long, he introduces guests to the passionate art of star gazing, teaching them how to read the sky maps handed out every month, much to our residents’ delight. Each introduction is different: Michel Dumas tailors the lesson based on age, nationality, date and the movement of the stars, planets and moon. An incredible experience of which you can be the star.

No summer is complete without the magnificent gardens of La Bastide being open for your pleasure: from Cross-Fit lessons to an open-air cinema, these magical surroundings will be the setting for some incredible memories. Music also plays a key part in this parade of activities, with live concerts every night at the bar. Our talented musicians and DJs guarantee a fun and festive atmosphere that can be enjoyed by all. Jazz, swing, Bossa Nova, pop, soul…there’s something for everyone!

With all musical genres catered for, the grown-ups can let loose while the kids have a ball.

At La Bastide, children are kings and have free reign over an entire kingdom built for them.

While magician and caricaturist enthral and mesmerise guests, the staff entertain the younger generations with hands-on and sporty activities, outdoor film screenings and even, like our Easter egg hunt, large treasure hunts in the gardens !

The small village of Gordes doesn’t shy away from the festive mood: there are plenty of activities to choose from in the region and the concierge will be happy to organise fantastic days out for families, couples or singles, ranging from tree-top obstacle courses, canoeing/kayaking, horse riding, hot-air balloon rides, e-bike excursions, Segway expeditions, tennis matches and much more !
