The Airelles Spa: a multi-sensory voyage

This summer, the Airelles Spa at La Bastide in Gordes has been proud to partner with two renowned brands: Barbara Sturm and Seed to Skin. Both brands have different areas of expertise and an extensive product offering, allowing La Bastide to propose a varied and customised well-being experience to our treasured guests.

In the heart of La Bastide, you’ll find the sublime Airelles Spa with its indoor pool, hammam, sauna and sensory showers. As you’ll see from the high vaulted ceilings, its architecture is inspired by great Provençal abbeys, such as the nearby Abbaye de Sénanque.

Stone, wood and natural light blend to create a serene atmosphere for all treatments, which can take place inside the spa or even outside in a private part of the terrace facing the Luberon Valley.

For this season’s holistic experience, the Airelles Spa has joined up with the prestigious Barbara Sturm, Seed to Skin brands to offer new massages and exceptional care for both face and body.

Barbara Sturm is a renowned anti-aging brand, created by the eponymous anti-inflammatory pioneer Dr Barbara Sturm. At La Bastide, the brand offers four face treatments including its signature Sturmglow whose cleansing, revitalizing properties restore the complexion’s natural radiance. There is also a clarifying treatment for blemished skin.

Seed to Skin pairs botanicals with scientifically advanced ingredients. Bespoke, multi-sensory rituals include Le Réconfortant with gentle exfoliation by brush to stimulate the lymphatic system, a warm candle massage to relieve tension, and a body wrap or regenerating facial. Their signature Golden Glow provides intense hydration, detoxication and improved oxygenation.
