Le Grand Contrôle an experience unique Worldwide
From period furnishings and paintings to the staff’s uniforms, history is reborn at Le Grand Contrôle in a decor preserving the authenticity of the 18th century. Benefit from an array of privileges and exclusive tours.
Every morning, before it opens to the public, a guide will introduce you to the secrets of the Domaine de Trianon on an exclusive visit reserved for guests staying at Le Grand Contrôle. At the end of the day, you will be escorted inside the Château, by then closed to visitors, for a private tour of rooms which explain the renown of Versailles: the Hall of Mirrors, the Grand Apartments, private Apartments and the “Cabinets” of Marie-Antoinette. During this exceptional tour, you will enjoy the privilege of visiting these areas rarely unveiled to the public.
In decor marked by the splendours of the Court, savour the refined cuisine of Chef Alain Ducasse. The many dishes appear in “services“. Dressed in period costumes, the team presents dishes of gold, silver and vermeil. Enjoy a romantic dinner in one of the private rooms listed as Historic Monuments with clear views of the Orangery Gardens, with a feast of nine courses, served like a well-orchestrated ballet. Slip inside the skin of Marie-Antoinette…
After the “Lever de la Reine”, pay a visit to the Domaine de Trianon, then relax in the Spa Valmont with the “Miroir Majestueux” treatment, inspired by the Queen’s beauty care rituals. Dress in a magnificent costume before being treated to make-up and hair styling as in the days of the Court, and relish afternoon tea, “Les Délices de Marie-Antoinette”, with water infused with roses from the Gardens of Versailles, once used by the Queen.
“Savour the Refined cusine of Chef Alain Ducasse.”

For an even more exceptional experience, Le Grand Contrôle can be entirely privatised from a full day to a week. The personnel will be at your disposal to make this stay a memorable event, with delicious feasts and visits rich in discoveries.
