Let yourself be tempted by a visit to one of its remarkable landmarks such as the castle, church, or the “Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque”, a gem of Romanesque art. When hunger strikes, head for the trattoria, La Bastide de Pierres, to savour a delicious Neapolitan pizza or a dish of pasta della mamma before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved siesta.

Back on top form, set off to explore the surrounding area. For ideas on original activities, you can trust the concierges, at your disposal to meet your desires. Discover the lavender fields while driving a vintage 2CV or take a ride on an electric bike. Experiences to make your stay unique. As for visits, don’t miss the Village of the Bories, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and the ochre quarries of Roussillon.

Time to laze by the pool. On one of the hotel’s many terraces, it offers a perfect, constant temperature of 30 degrees to enjoy at all times of day. Welcomed like royalty at La Bastide, youngsters will have great fun discovering the Airelles Summer Camp with its own pool and playroom. Outlawing boredom, many activities are held throughout the season, such as pastry-making workshops, exercises in magic, and treasure hunts.

To perfectly round off the day, what better than dinner at L’Orangerie in the hotel’s high-level gardens? An enticing opportunity to discover the richness of Provençal and Mediterranean flavours in gourmet dishes, superbly executed and presented by La Bastide’s Executive Chef Yohan Fatela. A meal to share at the highly-coveted Table de la Tour overlooking the valley from the front row while watching the sun go down. A moment you are unlikely to forget.

At nightfall in summer, the gardens of La Bastide are transformed into a real open-air cinema. For the pleasure of young and old alike, these sessions are regularly followed by observation of the sky, accompanied by a passionate astronomer. Planets and shooting stars hold no more secrets!

With the children in bed, prolong your evening at La Bastide’s Bar and let yourself be carried away by live DJ music while sipping one of the Signature cocktails created by the mixologists.
