The entire Les Airelles experience has been meticulously crafted to offer guests more amazing adventures than they could ever dream of.

The one-of-a-kind activities are fun for all the family and will captivate both children and adults of all ages. Fans of snow sports and outdoor activities have access to the 3 Valleys, Europe’s largest ski area, and can take private lessons in skiing and snowboarding as well guided excursions with experts in snow shoeing, cross-country skiing and ski touring. On top of that, ice hockey matches and skijoring are also organised for children and teenagers.

And for the thrill-seekers? At every opportunity, Les Airelles organises special experiences such as dog sledding expeditions, hot air balloon rides, paragliding and sky diving. And never one to rest on its laurels, the hotel has two brand-new activities on offer this year: firstly, the opportunity to enjoy a picnic at high altitude with a helicopter flight. And secondly, to spend an unforgettable day cross-country skiing to a refuge (refuge du Christ), where an instructor will introduce the more daring to off-piste skiing, followed by an authentic Savoy meal.

After a day’s skiing, when the slopes close and the resort comes to life, guests at Les Airelles can continue the fun by skating on the private ice rink, going for a snowmobile ride, fat biking, experiencing a torchlight descent or even testing their wits at an escape game in a yurt. Anyone looking to rather let go and unwind also have a rich and varied programme of relaxing activities at their disposal: snowga, yoga, fitness, pilates and obviously La Mer, the locally renowned spa and perfect pre-dinner treat.

Let us remember…

The season kicked off with the enthralling Christmas décor, already in place when the hotel opened its doors. In keeping with this year’s theme of “Airelles Magic Christmas”, the entrance hall was transformed into an enchanting village with an advent calendar hidden amongst its midst, much to the delight of the children.

On Christmas Eve, the hotel was buzzing: dinner was being prepared, the tables were set with their finest attire and the chef was in his element creating a special menu. What a delectable evening! When the sun rose the next morning, Father Christmas arrived in a carriage to hand out presents to all the good children, whose look of awe won’t be forgotten any time soon. A unique and truly magical moment.
