The experience

One week, three destinations with Airelles

For summer 2020, Airelles is taking its taking its guests on a journey along the prettiest roads of Provence and the Côte d’Azur. Visit the most beautiful summer properties in the collection on an unforgettable road trip, linking Gordes to Les Baux-de-Provence and then Saint-Tropez.

Experience three destinations over seven nights* thanks to the “On the road” package. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners among a selection of 11 restaurants are included, as well as a picnic basket each time you set off, and a valet service takes care of the car each time you arrive, so you can explore the South of France like a first-class globetrotter. During your stay, you can go wine tasting, sample different olive oils, explore the countryside by electric bike or even go for a romantic walk around a castle set on the Mediterranean.

This delightful region is full of surprises

The trip begins in the hilltop town of Gordes with two nights in La Bastide, the beautiful Provencal Airelles escape. This delightful region is full of surprises – between mountains dotted with olive trees and endless vineyards and lavender fields, are the ochre landscapes of the Provençal Colorado. Getting lost in Provence’s charming villages is the best advice the Concierge at La Bastide can give you – these include Lacoste, Ménerbes, Bonnieux, Lourmarin , Rustrel, les Baux-de-Provence, L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Roussillon and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Located only a few minutes from Gordes, their charm is impossible to resist. But La Bastide also creates unforgettable moments inside its walls: yoga, an outdoor cinema, astronomy, musical evenings, arts and crafts, and sports activities for the kids – here, there is something for everyone.

After two days on the hillside of Gordes, point your car in the direction Les Baux-de-Provence, where you can enjoy two nights at Château d’Estoublon, a 200-hectare agricultural estate, which includes 120 hectares of olive trees and 20 hectares of vines. All the warmth of Provencal life is encapsulated by the Chateau’s new restaurant, La Table d’Estoublon. Here, Chef Wim Van Gorp brings to life the cuisine of the past, but filled with modern Provençal influences. On the plate, you’ll find fresh, local quality ingredients that are enhanced by his deft touch. Leaving this sumptuous Provencal house will be a wrench for your taste buds in particular.

Finally, the trip ends in style on the shores of the Mediterranean, with your feet in the water at Château de la Messardière – the famous estate built in the hills of Saint-Tropez in the 19th century. Refurbished earlier this year, Chateau de la Messardiere offers exquisite views of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the vineyards of Ramatuelle and the Pampelonne beach. Located in the loveliest part of the region, guests will delight in the serenity of the chateau, the prettiness of the beach, and the atmosphere of the nearby village. Château de la Messardière is the ideal place to enjoy long summer days with friends or family, either with a picnic by the water, a stroll by the harbour or even a hike in the hills.

So press down on the accelerator, feel the wind in your hair and let Airelles create a tailor-made road trip just for you.
